Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Let's start off by saying, WHAT A YEAR! Wow, two fillies in the TOP 10 in Canada, and

Flying High the Best Dressage Foal in ALL of Canada?! I'm still in shock! We never ever thought we would get a distinction such as this, and especially only 4 years into our breeding program. Another bit of wonderful news, all our foals from 2019 have been sold to fantastic homes. One in Texas and two are going to California! What lucky ladies! We get to enjoy them for the winter before they make the big journey into the States.

We have some big plans for 2020. I've been buying some frozen semen and planning on an earlier start in 2020. Hoping we can get some confirmed pregnancies and have the rest of the summer to 'relax' (whatever that is!)

Next year we plan to build an outdoor riding ring and round pen (Shannon will be getting Havannah and Daisy back undersaddle.) Build our garage, do a bunch of outside work on our house, clear more land and possibly fence off another section. I'd love to try and make a few crusher dust/sand paddocks with run-ins attached that lead to the bigger grass pasture. Great for the rainy season, or this miserably mucky and rough footing time of year. We are also going to put power and water out to the pastures and new barn. What a treat that will be! Perhaps, and the big "IF" we may try and buy an Escamillo filly in Europe to "complete" our herd. Hoping we have a good and easy winter. It's off to a quiet start and I'm hoping the next few weeks will gradually ease us into winter. We still have Ramirah to wean and good weather with good footing is a complete necessity!

Tentative breeding plans for 2020.

- Safira to Danciero, Franziskus, or Secret. Back up Dauphin.

-Freebie to Rockefeller, back up Zhivago.

-Havannah to Franklin, Ibiza or For Romance. Back up Wynton.

-Daisy to Erdinger, Tørveslettens Sylvester, Dante Weltino, Bon Coeur ...
