Snow snow snow
Winter has arrived, and seems to be a month early ... maybe summer will come earlier? Wishful thinking. With the snow we've had great opportunities for picture taking. Nothing better than playful, fresh horses, jumping around in the snow.
Pictured below is Cindy (Certus) showing a 1998 career broodmare showing that she has some moves in there. Behind is happy Serene (Schwarzenegger). She will be weaned shortly, and is looking for a home! Priced at $6700 US ($9000 Canadian + tax)
Below is big moving Freebie (Fidertanz). Exciting news, her Fabregas son Flying Machine, was awarded 3rd place in the AHS Sport Horse Breeding for "Younger Colts and Geldings - Weanlings and Yearlings", with a score of 75.688. Wow! We are expecting another Fabregas x Fidertanz foal this spring. This is definitely a reliable and impressive cross. The in-utero foal is for sale.
Then lastly, my heart horse, Daisy (Diamond Hit). Compact, elegant and a very nice mover. She is an absolute sweetheart, as are all the girls, but she has a special place in my heart. She was my first Hanoverian I purchased and is such a kind soul. I grew up being in love with Daisy's sire, Diamond Hit, and to have one in my backyard is so special. I am so excited to meet her Dante Weltino foal in the spring.
Merry Christmas to you all. It is our first Christmas with our 8 month old son, Everett. Needless to say, it will be very enjoyable and see him amazed with all the lights and presents.
