Exciting November!

Minus the never ending mud and rain that seems to be our fall this year (last year was GORGEOUS), the horses are all doing well. Funny, on the rare sunny and warm day, they seem to breathe a sigh of relief and all lay down and soak up the sun. After a dry summer, the rain is a relief ... but come on Mother Nature, we didn't need 'this' much.

Our Finest colt is growing leaps and bounds. He is going to be a tall one! Acting mischievous towards the others, always wanting to play and instigating. But super sweet and kind with humans, as he's always been. He has a sale pending, and it would be a superb home.

Luna is super sweet and sophisticated. She thinks very highly of herself, as she should :) A compact powerhouse, a little sports car. Definitely super excited to see her develop with Hilary. I expect a fabulous broodmare prospect and riding horse.

Both kids will be weaned in the next week, as long as the weather will cooperate for 2 or 3 days, (rather unlikely!) And hopefully leaving mid-late November before bad weather hits.

Shannon will be headed to Vermont (pictured) before the 23rd of November to pick up the new mare, Havannah FH (Hotline x EM Sandro Hit). She's headed down with friends from Ontario, and is really looking forward to exploring a new area and bringing home 2 new mares.

What?! Another new mare! Yes, a mare we were offered to lease and we could not say no to. She is FANTASTIC and we always wanted a mare with this pedigree. Trained to FEI level dressage, produced 2 legitimate stallion prospects, won a 1A prize in Germany, had a fabulous MPT in the USA scoring an overall 7.75 (including a 9 for her trot!) Planning on trying her to Springbank II, back up Lissaro Van de Helle, and fresh options of Zhivago and/or Goldwyn.
